PLAY4LIFE “BREAKAWAY BALL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT”
JULY 11, 2015 AT THE RICHMOND OLYMPIC OVAL

Come join us for our 2nd Play4Life “BreakAway Ball Hockey Tournament” to be held at the beautiful 140,000 sq. ft. Richmond Olympic Oval on July 11, 2015.

The tournament is for ages 8 to 16, however everyone is welcome to attend and cheer on our participants as they make a difference in the lives of the children overseas by playing in the tournament. There will be activities for the whole family all day long. The tournament runs from 9 am to 5 pm with prizes being awarded at the conclusion of the event.

TEAMS – EXPERIENCE THE COMPETITION AND GET SOME GREAT EXTRAS!

Each team participating in the Breakaway Ball Hockey Tournament will receive a free team picture with Carey Price, and each team member will receive a signed autograph from this NHL star.

Due to the tremendous accolades he received during the 2015 NHL Awards, Carey’s time has been in unusually high demand. We are truly overjoyed for all his success, though we do share with you an obvious disappointment regarding the sudden news of this unforeseeable absence. In light of this, we would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that you, participating athletes, are in fact always the guests of honour at all our Play4Life tournaments, as you play to make a difference. Time willing, Carey Price will be signing autographs for players, families and spectators during the event. Autograph sessions may be subject to time limitations.

REGISTER YOUR TEAM SOON!

Registration is now open! You must register your team name as well as each team member. The tournament will be played in a four on four format, but you can register up to eight players including 1 goalie per team. Games are 20 minutes in length and will be refereed by B.C.H.L. licensed referees. Prizes will be awarded to winning teams.

To be part of this tournament, each team member MUST come with a filled out and signed BreakAway waiver form and photo ID. Download the release form here.

You Must Register In One Of The Following Divisions:

• Bronze Division: 8 to 10 Year Olds
• Silver Division: 11 and 12 Year Olds
• Gold Division: 13 and 14 Year Olds
• Platinum Division: 15 and 16 Year Olds

Registration is $250 per team. ALL proceeds from the event will go to Food For The Hungry to help at risk children overseas. Last year we raised $5000 to help send a container of medical equipment to help children and families in the Philippines who were rebuilding after Typhoon Haiyan in 2013. This year our goal is to raise $10,000 to sponsor children with Food For The Hungry for a total of 20 children sponsored for a full year!

All visitors and spectators are encouraged to give a donation of any kind at the door. All donations go directly to helping at risk children and youth. Organizations participating with PLAY4LIFE will have staffed information tables at the tournament to answer any questions and provide material regarding their work.
